About Us

To be a company of unyielding standards and integrity. To provide honest and ethical conduct in each action we engage in, and each transaction we make. We pledge to represent you in the highest fashion, while providing a competitive and professional service.

CBC’s origins date back to 1942, when Credit Bureau Collections was a local credit reporting and collection agency. CBC is the result of a consolidation of five collection agencies from Bristol, Kingsport, and Johnson City in upper east Tennessee.

Since 2003, CBC has been led by partners Marc Carter and Joey Nichols. CBC has built a reputation for integrity, with 100% client satisfaction rates and unrivaled revenue management customization technology for improved contact rates that deliver better returns.
